Anti Ragging

Ragging is a criminal offense & FIT is a no-ragging zone.
It is mandatory for all students to fill the Anti ragging Affidavit issued by AKTU and AICTE at the time of admission. As per norms

Punishment for Culprits

FIT, Meerut shall consider one or more of the following punishments for students involved in ragging

• Cancellation of admission
• Suspension from attending classes
• Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits
• Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process
• Withholding results
• Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
• Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters
• Lodging of an FIR with the police
